Our rearing horse necklaces have been hand cut from swirls of copper and silver. This mixed-metal medium is called mokume-gane.
Mokume-gane is a type of Japanese mixed-metal consisting of swirls of different metals layered in patterns as you can see in the picture. This material is unique because it gives the appearance of natural wood grain. When several layers of differently colored metals form a sandwich of alloys it's called a "billet." The billet is then manipulated in such a way that a pattern resembling wood grain emerges over its surface. Since there are numerous ways of working the mokume gane patterns, every "wood-grain-like" structure will look slightly different from the picture! We then cut the inside horse out by hand with a small jewelers saw.
This whole horse arrowhead piece pictured above is a little larger than a silver dollar. You may choose your own chain sizes above. If there is a design that you favor on our store and would like to see it on mokume gane instead, please message us so we can make your design come to life!
Be sure to share this new design of ours with your friends and family!
Length of Pendants (together):
Large: 1.2 in ≈ could fit inside a half dollar
Extra Large: 1.6 in ≈ slightly larger than silver dollar
**Please note** when ordering the smaller sizes the strata (stirpes) will appear much thicker than what is pictured on the larger sizes.

► The Namecoins team uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) for shipping◄
All orders include a tracking number, which you will receive in an email once your order is complete.
Shipping info for US orders:
USPS standard shipping is about 3-5 days.
*Please note: The time frames mentioned for shipping, do not include processing and making your order.
International Orders Shipping Info:
USPS international shipping is about 7-14 business days. Sometimes orders can get caught in customs, which can extend the arrival time of your package by a few weeks.
****Please be aware your country may or may not charge you a customs fee to receive your package. We have no way of knowing when this might take place; it seems to be a completely random process for some countries. The customers are responsible for paying the fee. This rarely happens, but we want our customers to be prepared for possible extra expenses.
For info regarding faster shipping methods for international orders, feel free to message us through Etsy conversations.
Once we ship a hand crafted product and send a tracking number, it is out of our hands. We have done all we can. At that point we can no longer be responsible for the package. If there is a delivery problem, we will do all we can to aid you in dealing with the postal authorities, but ultimately you will need to pursue any and all claims with the USPS or the postal authority in the country you live in.

Our coins are hand cut, and we draw the designs for each coin. Many people ask for custom designs, and we have not charged for the time and materials that go into this design work. Sometimes we even get pictures or drawings to adapt to our art. After we have adapted your desires to our medium, we reserve all rights to the work we cut and the drawing we adapt.
The best way is to get a silver polishing cloth. You can get them at hobby lobby or even Walmart. They make the coins Very shiny. Otherwise use baking soda or toothpaste!

However, they only made each state quarter in one year so most of the time you can't get the state and the year. Just let us know in the comment section if you want the state or the date and let us know if you want us to cut it on the head side or the tail side. Our state quarters have the year on the tail side.
